Job summary

A leading construction recruitment agency in South Africa is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their head office team. You will contribute to the successful delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects by leveraging your strong technical expertise and commercial acumen. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent, 15 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects, and proficiency in MS Projects and Excel. A valid Code 8 driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Civil Infrastructure projects, Construction Management and/or Estimating.
• Strong ability to interpret BOQs, drawings and project specifications.
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license.

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their head office team and contribute to the successful delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, commercial acumen and the ability to analyse complex project information with accuracy.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, BTech / ND in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Civil Infrastructure projects, Construction Management and/or Estimating.
• Proficiency in MS Projects, Excel and CCS.
• Knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, GCC 2015, COTO, COLTO and SABS 1200.
• Strong ability to interpret BOQs, drawings and project specifications.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills.
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license.
