A leading engineering recruitment firm in South Africa is seeking a CE&I Senior Engineer to produce design deliverables across project stages. Qualifications

• Minimum of BTEC, HNC, or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with extensive experience in design delivery.
• Experience of Machinery Safety regulations (BS EN 60204 and BS EN 13849) and Functional Safety (BS EN 61511).
• Demonstrable experience in waste management and encapsulation design.

Job description

The CE&I Senior Engineer will be responsible for producing design deliverables for appraise and select stage through to define stage and will provide support to deliver and operate stages of the project.

• Delivering CE&I design package – Translating user requirements and technical specification into fully engineered, safe and legal design solution.
• Experience of Programmable Electronic Systems, Safety in design, Machinery & Functional Safety and Cybersecurity Risk Assessment.
• Demonstrable understanding of the legislative and regulatory environment in which Sellafield operates.
• Determining Engineering Requirements and provide underpinning for the validation and verification
• Engaging other disciplines and stakeholders at key lifecycle points, including an awareness of basic project management fundamentals.
• Providing clear, confident presentation of relevant deliverables to all stakeholders attending Single and Multidiscipline design reviews as required by the integrated assurance plan.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of either BTEC, HNC, or HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with extensive experience in design delivery.
• Experience of Machinery Safety (including BS EN 60204 and BS EN 13849 and Functional Safety (BS EN 61511)
• Demonstrable experience in the design and implementation of waste management and encapsulation

• Degree Qualified in appropriate discipline
