Job summary

A leading service provider in backup power solutions seeks an experienced mechanic in Gauteng to ensure the optimal performance of fleet vehicles, including trucks and forklifts. The role involves conducting inspections, implementing preventative maintenance, and performing necessary repairs. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience and a Diesel/Petrol Mechanic Trade Test Certificate. The ideal applicant will possess own transport, tools, and a valid SA driver's licence, and be willing to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a mechanic.
• Experience on vehicles and Code 14 trucks.
• Valid SA driver's licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair vehicles, machinery, and light trucks.
• Conduct maintenance inspections and monitor inventory.
• Troubleshoot and resolve vehicle issues in a timely manner.

Skills

Fluent in English (reading and writing)

Self‑motivated

Ability to operate with minimal supervision
