Qualifications

• Proven experience in Bulk Water transfer schemes, particularly pump stations and pipelines.

Overview

Top engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Bulk Water Engineer with experience in design of pipelines and associated infrastructure to work on a broad range of water focused infrastructure projects across Africa and internationally.

The position can be based in Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town.

Requirements

• BSc / BEng. Civil Engineering degree
• Professionally registered with ECSA
• Experienced in Bulk Water transfer schemes (in particular pumpstations and pipelines)
• Beneficial water experience includes intake works, treatment facilities, reservoirs, non-revenue water, distribution systems and other hydraulic structures.
• Beneficial waste water experience includes sewer network design and overview of treatment options
• Software includes Civil 3D, Plant 3D, EPANET, Civil Designer, WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater or similar. HAMMER (advantageous)
