Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper Accountant in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, alongside a Financial BCom BCompt Degree or relevant articles. The role requires proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as Pastel. A valid driver's license and transport are also mandatory. The salary package is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Senior Bookkeeper Accountant in the Manufacturing Industry.
• Proficient in Excel, Pastel Partner, and Pastel Payroll essential.
• Valid Drivers License and own Transport required.

Responsibilities

• Manage full bookkeeping functions up to management accounts.
• General ledger reconciliation and account analysis.
• Prepare journal entries and financial reports.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Senior Bookkeeper Accountant in the Manufacturing Industry

• Completed SAIPA SAICA Articles advantageous
• Proficient in Excel Pastel Partner Pastel Payroll essential
• Strong knowledge of full Bookkeeping function up to Management Accounts Payroll essential
• Valid Drivers License and own Transport required
• Contactable references and payslips required
