Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Accounting with solid academic results.
• Professional qualification: CA(SA) or CGMA preferred.
• Strong expertise in IFRS accounting and internal controls.
• Working knowledge of South African tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
• Processing monthly tracking journals for business unit management accounts.
• Reconciling and reviewing balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Reviewing financial dimensions, projects, segments, and business unit classifications.
• Compiling and submitting statutory returns ensuring complete compliance.
• Preparing quarterly investor financial reports.
• Analysing actual vs budget variances and providing insights.
• Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager on automation of finance processes.
