MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with completed Articles

- Previous experience in the freight forwarding or logistics sector is highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax laws
- Proficient in SAP
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packs to Head Office
- Preparation for Annual Financial Statement
- Monitor and report on cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
- Process VAT, income tax, and other statutory returns in compliance with SARS regulations
- Manage fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations
- Liaise with Banks, Auditors, and regulatory bodies as needed
- Perform cost analysis related to freight and logistics operations to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
- Assist with implementation and improvement of financial systems and internal controls
