Senior Associate – Contract Intelligence & Transformation

PwC’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) practice is growing, and we are seeking CLM /Commercial Contracting professionals to join us as a contracting functional specialist (s).

In this role, we are looking for a results‑driven transformation professional with hands‑on experience across operating model design, commercial contract analysis, and end‑of‑end business change. Skilled at assessing current‑state processes, identifying structural and commercial inefficiencies, and designing future‑state solutions that improve performance, reduce leakage, and strengthen governance.

You will work closely with project managers, client stakeholders, and the CLM implementation team to deliver high‑quality solutions that enhance contract management, procurement governance, and supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Contracting Transformation
  • Assessment and design: Lead current‑state assessments of contracting processes, organization, policies, and technology. Identify structural/commercial inefficiencies and value‑leakage drivers; design future‑state operating models, governance, and controls.
  • Commercial excellence: Translate contractual obligations into operational requirements; design playbooks, negotiation frameworks, and approval matrices to improve risk/compliance and cycle time.
  • Data and migration: Define data models, mapping, and migration approaches for legacy contracts; oversee quality, testing, and remediation.
CLM Solution Design & Configuration
  • Analyse Business requirements, perform contract reviews, value‑leakage identification and translating contractual obligations into actionable operational requirements leveraging technology and AI.
  • Translate complex business challenges into clear, structured recommendations and to drive implementation through effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Change and adoption: Plan and deliver change management, training, and hypercare; measure adoption and business outcomes (e.g., cycle time, leakage reduction, compliance rates).
Stakeholder Collaboration & Training
  • Work closely with senior client stakeholders across cross functions like procurement, supplier management, legal, finance, Sales, operations, and risk/compliance to shape and deliver transformation initiatives. Work closely with project managers and implementation teams to ensure alignment between commercial requirements, operating model design, and system deployment.
  • Maintain a forward‑looking view of the contract lifecycle and commercial technology landscape, including Contract Intelligence, CLM platforms, and emerging Generative AI capabilities, ensuring transformation designs incorporate modern tools and data‑driven decision‑making.
Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops with cross‑functional teams like Legal, Procurement, Sales, IT, Billing, supply chain, etc.
  • 3–4 years’ experience in CLM, contract transformation, commercial contracting, or procurement/legal operations within consulting or industry.
  • Degrees: Law/LLB, Supply Chain/Procurement, Commerce/Finance, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Lean Six Sigma certifications are advantageous.
