Job summary

An educational training provider in Gauteng is offering a 12-month Learnership programme aimed at developing foundational skills in entry-level learners. Participants will gain theoretical knowledge aligned with NQF standards and practical work experience. This position is suitable for Grade 12 qualified candidates, with a focus on essential professional skills such as communication and business principles.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 qualification is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree is advantageous, preferably in Psychology.
  • 0-1 years experience in Coaching and mentoring will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job description
Purpose of Job

To participate in and complete the Learnership programme for the designated field of expertise.

Programme

The 12-month programme will offer a theoretical element aligned to an NQF Learnership programme and practical on site work experience to improve entry-level learners' skills and workplace performance. It provides foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, computer and basic business principles.

It is suitable for Grade 12 qualified persons to develop essential professional skills. Learners will provide administrative support during the practical component to improve the effectiveness of managers and the departments in general as work readiness preparation.

The theoretical component will cover: Entrepreneurship, Business Operations, Customer Service, Business Accounting, Maths Literacy, Communication skills and Computer Skills.

Additional Exposure
  • Learners will be exposed to providing learner support, conducting awareness presentations, conducting research and track client’s progress towards individual goals.
  • Event Coordination with Service Providers and Site Contacts.
  • Communication Facilitation between employees services providers, and the Well-being team, and Keeping employees informed about upcoming well-being initiatives, events, and available resources.
  • Strategic Planning & Yearly Wellbeing roadmap,Employee Engagement & Wellbeing Surveys.
  • Cross-department collaboration from IT, HR, and meetings with Snr Managers, VP and Senior VP's
Formal Education
  • Matric/ Grade 12
  • Bachelor's degree advantageous (Preferably in Psychology)
Min Experience
