Overview

Our client in the Consumables industry is currently looking for a Sales Manager / Sales Head - (Business to Business), in Rivonia, Sandton.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute the sales strategy for business-to-business markets, aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the business-to-business sales team, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and KPIs.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential partnerships to drive revenue growth.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports and present them to senior management regularly.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer needs.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and mentorship to the sales team, improving their performance and knowledge.
  • Negotiations & Closing: Lead negotiations with major clients and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Sales Head, or in a similar business to business sales leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of business-to-business sales processes, customer acquisition, and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Drivers licence and own car essential.
