Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in FMCG field sales.
  • Experience managing or calling on major retail accounts (Woolworths, Pick n Pay, Clicks, etc.).
  • Strong project management, planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, confident, and target-driven.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Plan and execute an effective weekly call cycle (8+ quality calls per day).
  • Conduct pre-call preparation, store visits, and ensure shelf health and compliance.
  • Place orders, manage stock rotation, update pricing and merchandising.
  • Build strong in-store relationships with Store and Regional Managers.
  • Negotiate displays, promotions, and increased shelf space.
  • Review promotional performance using IRI and internal sales tools.
  • Supervise and support merchandisers; report store performance and compliance.
  • Provide regular sales reports, insights, and action plans for underperforming areas.

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue, building key customer relationships, executing in-store excellence, and delivering results across top national retailers.

Key Responsibilities :

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

Plan and execute an effective weekly call cycle (8+ quality calls per day)

Conduct pre-call preparation, store visits, and ensure shelf health and compliance

Place orders, manage stock rotation, update pricing and merchandising

Build strong in-store relationships with Store and Regional Managers

Negotiate displays, promotions, and increased shelf space
