Position: Sales Development Representative - Cold Calling

Location: South Africa (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-Time; M-F; 9-5 PST Time

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a hungry, resilient, and sharp Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive outbound prospecting and fuel our sales pipeline. If you thrive on overcoming objections, building relationships, and crushing targets, this is your chance to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect & Qualify Leads: Research, cold outreach (calls/emails/LinkedIn), and book meetings.
  • Handle Objections Like a Pro: Turn “I’m busy” into “Tell me more.”
  • Collaborate with AEs: Work closely with closers to move deals forward.
  • Hit (and Smash) Targets: Weekly, monthly, quarterly—you’re driven by KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven confidence and resilience in high-pressure sales environments; comfortable facing and overcoming rejection.
  • Strong objection-handling skills with the ability to pivot conversations and persuade effectively.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for prospecting, pitching, and closing deals.
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry or familiarity with insurance products is a strong plus.
