Job Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for generating sales from inbound leads, former customers, and small existing customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to play a key role in expanding our customer base and contributing to our organization’s success. The position requires critical thinking, proactivity, high energy, excellent communication skills, and a strong passion for sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies to optimize lead generation campaigns, including content development and targeted outreach strategies.
- Engage with inbound leads from various sources, including website inquiries, email, telephone, social media, and marketing campaigns.
- Qualify leads through in-depth discovery meetings and visits with potential customers to understand their needs, evaluate opportunity size, and determine sales probability.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads, tracking progress using CRM software.
- Support the Sales Executive by preparing presentations, proposals, costings, and contracts.
- Update and maintain customer information accurately in the CRM system.
- Generate reports and attend sales meetings as required.
- Facilitate effective communication between teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Respond promptly to customer queries and issues, providing appropriate solutions.
- Provide feedback, documentation, and relevant information as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with DMX’s products, market trends, and industry developments.
- Provide regular sales performance reports to the Sales & Marketing Director.
- Execute prospecting plans to target and secure meetings with potential customers.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Conceptualize and sell marketing concepts/ideas to clients.
- Manage sales cycles lasting 4-6 months or longer.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualification in marketing or equivalent experience is advantageous.
- Completed sales training is advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in selling concepts/solutions in a B2B environment.
- Experience with CRM software for lead management and pipeline tracking.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong rapport-building skills.
- Ability to lead sales conversations with decision-makers.
