Job Purpose – Inbound or outbound policy sales, based on leads and campaigns.

Initiate the customer relationship and meet various KPIs.

Connect with the customer, conduct needs analysis, and propose customer solutions. Requires solid knowledge of products, their characteristics, and the market, as well as a focus on growing the brand.

Responsibilities
  • Make calls by telephone to allocated customers to develop new relationships or as a first point of contact.
  • Interview customers using a complex multi-level sales script to clarify requirements.
  • Assist in conducting interviews with potential customers to collect detailed client requirements.
  • Set clear objectives for each sales call; use standard materials to make presentations; ask relevant questions to evaluate interest and identify areas needing further explanation.
  • Identify products/services that meet customer needs, explain the selection, and invite purchase under standard terms.
  • Use expertise to propose quantities within policies and influence the customer towards beneficial purchases.
  • Develop knowledge of organisational policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes, adhering to mandatory standards.
  • Schedule callbacks and enter relevant information into CRM after each contact to create call plans and ensure quality data for retention and business development.
  • Prioritise workflow, ensure standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness, and use performance systems to improve personal performance.
  • Stay updated with internal policies and external regulations through online training and assessments.
  • Identify potential customers via information, referrals, and recommendations from existing clients.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years telephonic sales experience (Essential)
  • Experience in Financial Services Industry (Advantageous)
