Overview

HALDANE is seeking a consultative Sales Consultant who excels at building trusted relationships with architects, interior designers, and high net worth individuals.

This role requires someone who understands that luxury sales is about guidance and expertise, not persuasion.

You will build trust through product knowledge, impeccable service, and genuine care for each client’s project success. We’re looking for: 3-5 years’ sales experience serving premium clients – ideally in interior design, furniture, architecture, or luxury goods. You have refined interpersonal skills and the ability to read clients’ needs intuitively.

You work collaboratively within a small team and bring integrity to every interaction.

Responsibilities
Client Engagement
  • Provide expert, consultative guidance to architects, designers, and private clients.
  • Respond professionally to enquiries via email, ecommerce, telephone, and in-person appointments.
  • Develop deep understanding of clients’ projects, aesthetic preferences, and functional requirements.
  • Guide clients through our collections, educating them on design features, material benefits, and customization options.
  • Assist with finish selections, demonstrating refined understanding of colour, texture, and design trends.
  • Send catalogues, price lists, and tailored product recommendations.
Sales Administration
  • Generate accurate, detailed quotes using MRP Easy software.
  • Manage client relationships and sales pipeline in Pipedrive CRM.
  • Maintain consistent, professional follow‑up on quotes and enquiries.
  • Gather complete client information: delivery details, finish specifications, billing information, quantities.
  • Compile order documentation, including export paperwork.
  • Process payments in accounting software.
Customer Delivery Logistics
  • Coordinate complex delivery logistics for local, national, and international orders.
  • Gather detailed delivery addresses and site access information.
  • Obtain and manage transport and installation quotes.
  • Schedule delivery dates and manage expectations.
  • Facilitate 4‑way communication between delivery partners, interior designers, end customers, and production team.
  • Proactively resolve logistics challenges and keep all parties informed.
  • Ensure seamless delivery experience that reflects HALDANE’s premium standards.
Client Relations & Team Collaboration
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients based on trust and expertise.
  • Liaise with clients in a helpful, timely, and professional manner throughout their journey.
  • Work collaboratively with the HALDANE team, supporting shared goals.
  • Pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships.
  • Represent HALDANE’s values of integrity, craftsmanship, and excellence.
Brand Representation
  • Maintain immaculate showroom presentation.
  • Represent HALDANE at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Support website, ecommerce, and product configurator initiatives.
  • Uphold HALDANE’s reputation through every client touchpoint.
Essential Requirements
Experience & Skills
  • 3-5 years proven experience in consultative sales, ideally serving HNWI or professional clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with discerning, high‑status individuals.
  • Experience in interior design, furniture, architecture, or luxury retail sectors beneficial.
  • Comfortable learning and working across multiple software platforms (MRP Easy, Pipedrive CRM, Gmail, ecommerce systems).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
