Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the new brand and product.
- Drive sales growth through new account acquisition (corporates, wholesalers, contractors, and distributors) and by expanding existing customer relationships.
- Oversee daily operations of the division, working closely with production, logistics, and aftersales teams.
- Manage budgets, pricing structures, profitability, and debtor controls.
- Build strong customer confidence by ensuring high levels of service, product reliability, and timely delivery.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including project managers, architects, and developers.
- Lead, train, and grow a motivated sales team.
- Represent the company at trade events and within the market as the professional face of the new brand.
- Report directly to directors with monthly updates on targets, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the doors, windows, gates, or security gates industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong track record in corporate and wholesaler sales is essential.
- Experience working with project managers and within low-cost housing projects will be a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated success in building and growing a new brand, division, or product line.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, margins, and profitability.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking ability.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
