Retentions Consultant (Short Term Insurance) – Johannesburg.

Insurance Retentions Consultant with minimum 2 years’ retentions experience and minimum 1 year’s outbound call centre sales experience in the short term insurance industry, required to start asap in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Salary: R10 500 basic + Comm + Benefits.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • RE5 essential
  • Class of Business essential
  • NQF4 Short Term Insurance (150 FAIS credits) or better essential
  • Minimum 2 years’ short term insurance retentions experience required
  • Minimum 1 year’s outbound call centre sales experience essential
  • Knowledge of Short Term Personal Lines Insurance Products essential
  • Cold calling experience and stable employment record required

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify origin and reason for policy cancellations
  • Responding to clients re intend to cancel policies
  • Gain understanding of client portfolio across products
  • Upsell through needs analysis and available coverage
  • Provide competitor comparisons
  • Where applicable offer discounting strategies
  • Brand reputation management
  • Update customer information
  • Arrange for outstanding payments
