Overview

The Café Gannet restaurant, famously known as "Mossel Bay's seafood House," was founded in 1988. Situated in the heart of Mossel Bay, it offers a scenic ocean view and is adjacent to the Dias museum complex. The restaurant aims to provide the finest, fresh, sustainable seafood from the local coastline. Acclaimed for vibrant local seafood specialties and signature sushi, the menu also caters to vegetarians, meat lovers, and gelato lovers. The menu pairs well with over 50 South African wines, cocktails, aperitifs, liqueurs, and craft gins.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a Restaurant Manager located in Mossel Bay. The Restaurant Manager will oversee the daily operations of Café Gannet, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing staff, hiring and training employees, overseeing food and beverage operations, and coordinating with suppliers. The manager will be expected to uphold the high standards of food quality and presentation, maintain inventory, and handle any customer inquiries or complaints.
