Job description

My client is looking for a highly motivated and efficient Resident Engineer to support their operations with regards to maintenance, improving plant availability and controlling costs.

This amazing opportunity will be based in the Gauteng Province. The ideal candidate will be responsible to drive and participates actively in the formulating and reviewing overall long-term strategies for the Engineering function by identifying the short, medium and long term needs in support of long-term strategic direction of the organisation.

Requirements

• Have a BSC Degree in Engineering
• Have a Government Certificate of Competency
• Have an Executive Management Leadership Development Programme or equivalent
• Have professional registration with ECSA
• 10 – 15 years’ experience of underground, surface operational and metallurgical plant experience in Gold and Platinum mining
