A leading international company in the renewable energy sector is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee its financial operations and support strategic business initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full finance function, including month‑end close, reporting, and audits.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost centre analysis; identify and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with external service providers, including tax and accounting partners.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax requirements.
• Administer inter‑company contracts, insurance, lease agreements, and payment runs (local and cross‑border).
• Project finance support: validate cost calculations, monitor project margins, prepare forecasts and variance analyses.
• Advise management on finance and tax matters; assist in strategic projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
• Completed accounting articles (SAICA, SAIPA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience overseeing a full finance function and leading junior team members, ideally within the renewable energy, power, or alternative energy sector.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial management for energy projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and project cost control.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong time‑management skills.
• SAP experience and company secretarial knowledge advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally
