Job Summary

As an Incident Response Technical Lead, you will provide excellence in high-touch technical management for incident response projects. This includes frequent technical and non-technical updates with stakeholders, translating technology to non-technical clients, and serving as an escalation point and subject-matter expert.

Responsibilities
  • Focused on technical management of incident response recovery efforts from start to finish, including initial mobilization, assignment, and management of technical workstreams, and frequent client and vendor communication.
  • Incident response projects often begin over a or outside of traditional business hours, so you will manage critical recovery opportunities during those times to lessen client impact.
  • Use our ticketing system to document, track, and escalates project tasks and tickets; update our documentation platform to keep everything current.
  • Serve as an escalation point on technical questions from other engineers and the client.
  • Work with a team of intelligent people to deliver world-class service to our clients.
Requirements
  • Excellent comprehension and communication in English.
  • Previous experience leading a technical team.
  • Knowledge of Office / Azure cloud services.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of complex networking troubleshooting (VLANs, routing, subnetting, packet captures).
  • Broad understanding of how operating systems work.
  • Advanced OS troubleshooting (boot issues, corruption of profiles, OS files).
  • Comfortable working in different OSs, both CLI and GUI.
  • SQL database knowledge is a plus.
  • Advanced firewall configuration skills (creating and troubleshooting complex firewall policies/routes).
  • Experience troubleshooting ingress/egress issues.
  • Knowledge of diverse firewall UIs (SonicWall, Meraki, FortiGate, Cisco, WatchGuard, etc.).
  • Strong system architecture comprehension (e.g., how servers function).
  • Understanding of network and system performance elements.
  • Time-management skills are crucial.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skillset through industry certifications or a plan to obtain them.
  • Previous recovery/remediation experience is a plus.
  • Experience with a ticketing system; Autotask experience is a plus.
