A growing BPO company in South Africa is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. This fully remote role involves preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 2 years of related experience. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience (bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entries, etc.).
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review financial data for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accounting records in QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare supporting schedules and reports as required.
• Collaborate with team leads to ensure deadlines are met.
