Requirements :
A matric/Grade 12 certificate. COMPETENCIES & SKILLS: Job knowledge, time management, problem solving, organising and planning, computer literate and flexibility. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Good communication skills, Interpersonal skills, reliable, responsible and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Provide registry counter services.
- Handle telephonic and other enquiries received.
- Receive and register hand delivered mail/files.
- Sort, register and dispatch mail.
- Distribute notices on registry issues.
- Render an effective filling and record management services.
- Complete index cards for all files.
- Operate office machine in relation to the registry function.
- Frank post, record money and update register daily.
- Open and maintain remittance register.
- Record all valuables articles as prescribed in the remittance register.
- Send wrong remittance back to sender via registered post and record reference number in register.
- Keep daily record of amount of letters franked.
- Process documents via archiving and/or disposal.
- Compile list of documents to be archived.
- Keep records for archived documents.
