Overview

Requirements :

A matric/Grade 12 certificate. COMPETENCIES & SKILLS: Job knowledge, time management, problem solving, organising and planning, computer literate and flexibility. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Good communication skills, Interpersonal skills, reliable, responsible and positive attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Provide registry counter services.
  • Handle telephonic and other enquiries received.
  • Receive and register hand delivered mail/files.
  • Sort, register and dispatch mail.
  • Distribute notices on registry issues.
  • Render an effective filling and record management services.
  • Complete index cards for all files.
  • Operate office machine in relation to the registry function.
  • Frank post, record money and update register daily.
  • Open and maintain remittance register.
  • Record all valuables articles as prescribed in the remittance register.
  • Send wrong remittance back to sender via registered post and record reference number in register.
  • Keep daily record of amount of letters franked.
  • Process documents via archiving and/or disposal.
  • Compile list of documents to be archived.
  • Keep records for archived documents.
