Our Client in the FMCG Industry is seeking to employ a Regional Sales Manager to their team based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Food Technology, BComm, or an equivalent business-related field.
  • 5 or more years’ sales experience, preferably in FMCG or commercial sectors, with key account management experience.
  • Discipline and time management.
  • Planning and proactive approach.
  • Customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills.
  • Resilience.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
  • Plan fortnightly sales call schedules to ensure a value-added approach.
  • Learn and apply client classifications.
  • Build market share across all categories.
  • Drive and achieve sales volumes and budgets across all categories.
  • Build and research product and industry knowledge.
  • Coordinate and execute promotional activity as required.
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Maintain an absolute focus on customer service.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports.
  • Proactively seek new business and explore market opportunities.
  • Provide information on market trends as required.
  • Perform sales administration tasks.
  • Establish and manage client account agreements.
  • Develop new customer relationships through field visits.
  • Review customer accounts monthly and resolve queries and outstanding matters.
