SUMMARY
PlaceTalent Recruitment is seeking an experienced Recruitment Researcher to support our Head of Talent by delivering high-quality candidate research, sourcing, and pipeline development across specialist and technical recruitment assignments.
This fully remote role requires hands‑on sourcing experience, as well as strong database discipline. The position suits someone who is structured, detail‑oriented, and motivated by a basic salary plus commission remuneration model.
POSITION INFO
Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates using Pnet, LinkedIn Recruiter, internal databases, referrals, and additional sourcing platforms
- Build targeted talent pipelines aligned to live client briefs
- Conduct advanced Boolean searches and competitor and market mapping
- Identify and professionally engage passive candidates
Candidate Screening & Database Management
- Conduct initial screening calls where required
- Capture, update, and maintain accurate candidate records, CVs, and notes on the ATS
- Ensure database integrity, POPIA compliance, and confidentiality
- Manage and track active pipelines consistently
Direct Support to Head of Talent
- Work closely with the Head of Talent on live and strategic roles
- Support shortlisting, interview coordination, and candidate communication
- Provide sourcing feedback and market intelligence to support decision‑making
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Provide insights on candidate availability, salary expectations, and role scarcity
- Assist in refining sourcing strategies and research processes
Minimum Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in recruitment research or sourcing (agency experience preferred)
- Proven sourcing experience on different platforms
- Exposure to additional sourcing platforms and referral sourcing
- Experience using ATS/CRM systems (Placement Partner advantageous)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup
