Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join a branded food business that produces a range of innovative food products stocked by all UK major retailers. The business has seen a huge amount of growth in recent years, and we are looking for an ambitious quality professional to join the team in this newly created role.

The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading the quality function, working closely with 3rd party manufacturers and suppliers to ensure food safety and product quality standards are constantly exceeded. The Quality Manager will also work closely with NPD teams, being the technical lead for any new launches and will also oversee the Quality Management system.

The successful Quality Manager will possess the following skills and experiences:

• Educated to degree level in Food Science or related discipline
• Experience of working as a Quality Manager / Technical Manager / Technologist within the food industry
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience in working with 3rd party manufacturers
• A strong understanding of retailer requirements and Lead Auditor qualifications would be advantageous
