Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail orientated Quality Assurance and Control Specialist to join our team. This is a newly created role within our company offering an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about quality and eager to grow their career.

Offer

As a business that sources and supplies branded apparel and promotional products and does not manufacture items in-house . This role will focus on ensuring that all sourced products meet our quality standards that supplies comply with our requirements and that customers consistently received products of excellent quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an internal QA / QC framework tailored to apparel and promotional products.
• Create and maintain QA procedures and documentation.
• Review and approve samples, artwork, sizing and branding specification prior to production.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier compliance through assessments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to meet client requirements and quality benchmarks.

Quality Control (QC)

• Perform in-line and final inspections of apparel and promotional items.
• Identify defects, investigate root causes and ensure corrective actions plans are implemented.
• Approve or reject finished products based on established visual functional and branding standards.
• Document report and track non-conformance while recommending improvements.

Compliance Reporting and Continuous Improvement

• Maintain accurate records of quality inspection non-conformance and customer feedback.
• Generate regular reports for internal review and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train relevant teams on quality requirements awareness and common issues.
• Recommend and support implementation of process improvements to minimize errors and waste.

Education and Experience

• Higher qualification in Quality Management or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years experience in quality assurance / control within apparel promotional products or a related industry.
• Strong problem solving, decision making and analytical skills.
• A results driven approach and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple product categories / brands effectively.
