Job summary

A well-established manufacturing group is seeking an experienced QA Officer to drive quality assurance processes across all business areas in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in QA design and auditing with strong knowledge of ISO systems. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively within teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement standardised QA processes aligned with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 27001, 14001, 45001, etc.).
• Conduct audits, monitor compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and ensure company-wide understanding of QA procedures.
• Oversee objective reporting to support business growth and decision-making.
• Work across multiple locations, ensuring standardized and effective QA processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA process design, auditing, and monitoring in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of the functions and elements of quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ISO systems, risk management, and compliance.
• Advanced computer skills (Syspro, Pastel, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• National Senior Certificate (NSC) / Matric
