Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a part-time, remote, Partnerships & Customer Relationship Assistant to build and develop relationships with housing associations, supported living providers, charities, and care organisations across the UK. This is a phone-led, outbound role focused on speaking directly with decision-makers, understanding their housing needs, and identifying opportunities for long-term partnership. The role suits someone who enjoys conversation, persistence, and relationship-building rather than passive, inbox-based work.

If you’re proactive, confident on the phone, and motivated by meaningful impact in the housing sector, this role offers a clear remit and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outbound Outreach & Engagement
  • Make daily outbound calls to housing associations, supported living providers, charities, local authorities, and accommodation teams
  • Navigate switchboards and gatekeepers to reach senior decision-makers
  • Build and maintain a structured follow-up process so no potential relationship goes cold
  • Relationship Building & Needs Discovery
  • Understand each organisation’s housing criteria, referral pathways, and geographic priorities
  • Identify current and upcoming procurement needs
  • Lead Qualification & Opportunity Mapping
  • Identify opportunities for long-term leases, temporary accommodation, and specialist housing (e.g. mental health, step-down care, D2A, semi-independent living)
  • Gather clarity on unit sizes, locations, rent caps, licensing, and contract terms
  • Capture and maintain accurate information within the CRM system
  • Market & Sector Intelligence
  • Track changes in procurement trends, contract expiries, frameworks, and tenders
  • Gather insight into competitor offerings and unmet provider needs
  • Internal Handover & Follow-Through
  • Hand qualified opportunities to sourcing and operations teams with full detail
  • Maintain relationships to ensure momentum and continuity
Requirements

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Communications, Social Sciences, Property, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Prior experience in outbound calling, sales development, partnerships, or business development
  • Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships
  • Strong organisational skills and CRM discipline

Advantageous:

  • Exposure to housing, social care, supported living, property, or local authority environments
  • Understanding of procurement or commissioning processes
Performance Measures (KPIs)

Success in this role is measured through consistency and meaningful engagement, including:

  • Daily outbound calls
  • Weekly conversations with decision-makers
  • Number of organisations mapped and profiled
  • Qualified opportunities generated
  • Follow-ups and next steps secured

This is a results-driven role focused on real conversations and real needs, not vanity metrics.

Benefits
  • Performance incentives linked to qualified opportunities and partnerships
  • Full access to CRM systems, tools, data sources, and sector training
  • Opportunity to work in a fast-growing organisation delivering essential housing solutions
  • A professional, high-integrity environment where outcomes matter
  • Part-time, fully remote
