Join our Team as a Driver!

Are you a reliable and experienced driver with strong attention to detail and a passion for logistics? Do you take pride in maintaining vehicles and ensuring timely, safe deliveries? If so, we invite you to apply for the Driver role at SFI Group, a leading air-conditioning and maintenance services company in South Africa.

As a Driver, you will be responsible for the efficient management, control, distribution, and delivery of store inventory and parts, as well as the coordination and oversight of company fleet assets. Your role ensures smooth logistics operations while upholding compliance with our Quality Management System and Health & Safety Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Collection and delivery of supplies, stock, equipment, and materials as per operational requirements, with accurate documentation of deliveries and collections.
  • Loading and unloading supplies safely and efficiently.
  • Vehicle maintenance: conduct regular vehicle checks, timely servicing, and reporting of any issues.
  • Maintain valid vehicle licenses and ensure compliance with branding and safety standards.
  • Stock & inventory management: verify and record stock received and distributed, report discrepancies, and ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Tools & equipment management: issue, track, maintain, repair or replace faulty tools, and ensure calibration and safety compliance of equipment.
  • Health & safety compliance: follow company protocols, maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment, and conduct risk assessments before tasks.
What we’re looking for
Experience:
  • 5 – 7 years of professional driving experience.
  • 3 years of administrative or stock control experience.
  • Familiarity with Cape Town routes and logistics operations.
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 / Matric (Mandatory)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence (compulsory) older than 2 years
