Overview

Our client, a leader in the Solar PV industry, is seeking an experienced Projects Development Expert with a strong background in investment and project delivery. This role, open to locations across Africa, will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility through to project closeout and handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Solar PV projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget.
• Conduct project feasibility studies, including technical, financial, and regulatory assessments.
• Oversee investment analysis, financial modeling, and securing funding for projects.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including investors, contractors, regulatory bodies, and local communities.
• Coordinate project planning, procurement, and execution phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and deliverables, ensuring milestones are met.
• Lead project closeout activities, including testing, commissioning, and handover to operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or Finance (Master’s degree is a plus).
