Overview

We’re on the hunt for a Courier Area Project and Portfolio Manager! Do you thrive on building partnerships, leading teams, and making things happen? Then this might be the perfect role for you!

Our client is expanding their collection and drop off points (pick-up / drop off / lockers / staffed collection points), that serves as an alternative to home delivery, and need a driven, people-focused Project and Portfolio Manager to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll be at the heart of onboarding new partners for this project, managing existing ones, and ensuring their network keeps growing strong.

What you’ll do
  • Lead and inspire a team of contractors through partner onboarding
  • Work hand-in-hand with key stakeholders to keep contracts, renewals, and amendments on track
  • Turn promising prospects into long-term project and portfolio partners
  • Ensure smooth handovers to implementation teams
  • Streamline processes and find smarter ways of working
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, being their go-to person for escalations
  • Provide valuable performance insights and reporting
What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years of people leadership in a fast-paced operational environment
  • A proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills
  • Experience managing diverse business relationships
  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven mindset with Excel and CRM experience
Minimum requirements
  • Matric or higher qualification
  • 5+ years of people management experience
