We are working with a market leading manufacturer of textiles, who are looking for a Production Manager to join their team working across Fabrics.

The Production Manager must have previous experience working with Stenters and Coating Machines and have worked with Textiles. They must be able to understand KPI’s and manage change and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily fabric production to maximise machine usage and meet inventory and target deadlines.
• Drive key performance indicators
• Monitor and review processing schedules and performance.
• Develop manufacturing capabilities in line with evolving business needs.
• Ensure all operators are trained appropriately, with regular reviews of machine procedures and staff assessments.
• Oversee fabric processing standards to ensure consistent, repeatable results; promptly address any variances.
• Track production waste against targets and implement improvements where necessary.
• Maintain and update departmental training and health & safety documentation.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to uphold product standards and identify areas for enhancement.
• Ensure that all scheduled maintenance is completed on time.
• Verify production data accuracy and adherence to fabric production specifications.
• Work with maintenance teams to assess and ensure machinery performance.
