Overview

Amazon’s Retail Operations & Initiatives team is looking for a Product Manager to lead initiatives that improve both Vendor Experience and Supply Chain performance across Amazon’s retail business. This role will focus on identifying and addressing upstream and downstream process defects that impact vendor engagement, supply reliability, and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Retail Business Services (RBS), Vendor Managers, Supply Chain, and Tech teams to simplify processes, strengthen end-to-end visibility, and scale mechanisms that enhance vendor satisfaction and supply performance. You will use data to uncover insights, drive structured improvement programs, and influence cross-functional partners to deliver measurable business impact.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional product/programs to improve the Vendor Experience and Supply Chain efficiency across categories and marketplaces.
  • Identify root causes of vendor and supply chain pain points and develop scalable solutions.
  • Define key metrics for vendor experience and supply performance, and develop mechanisms for ongoing monitoring and reporting.
  • Build standard operating procedures (SOPs) and drive adoption of process improvements across multiple business teams.
  • Conduct deep dives using data and process mapping to uncover defects, quantify impact, and measure results post-implementation.
  • Influence technology roadmaps to address systemic gaps affecting vendor operations and supply chain flow.
  • Prepare and lead business reviews (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs) to communicate progress and outcomes to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of product management experience
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
  • Bachelor’s degree- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
