The successful candidate will handle administrative support, procurement coordination, and event organization. CEFSOC
CEF is a Schedule 2 state owned diversified energy company reporting to the Department of Mineral & Petroleum Resources.
The Mandate of CEF is to contribute to the security of energy supply of South Africa and the Region through exploration, acquisition, development, marketing and strategic partnership.
It is derived from the CEF Act (No 38 of ) and the Ministerial directives issued thereafter.
Responsible for the day-to-day clerical, coordination, and documentation tasks that support effective and compliant procurement operations.
National Diploma (NQF 6) in Business Administration / Procurement or an equivalent field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement or SCM administrative support role.
Bachelor's Degree (NQF 7) in Business Administration / Procurement or equivalent qualification will serve as an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of file management
Basic knowledge of procurement
Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with excellent time management and a high level of attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) with solid problem-solving and execution-focused work habits.
Professional communication skills, service-oriented, conscientious, and approachable.
Administrative support
Provide administrative assistance to various team members, including scheduling meetings, printing and binding reports, and maintaining records.
Assist in the preparation of presentations and documents.
Provide office support for the team by placing orders for stationery, making sure meeting rooms are prepared and organizing food for events if required.
Coordinate travel arrangements for the team
Communication
Serve as the first point of contact to stakeholders requesting support from team members and directing the request to the appropriate person
Manage office correspondence, including emails, memos, and telephone communications.
Event Coordination
Organize and coordinate office events, meetings, and team-building activities.
Assist in logistics planning for corporate functions and training sessions.
Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring documents are organized and accessible
Registration of new suppliers on the database
Capture data for monthly reporting.
