Job summary

A reputable staffing agency in South Africa is seeking a candidate to manage inventory, forecast supply and demand, and oversee order placements. The ideal candidate should have a National Senior Certificate, a driver’s license, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Bilingual in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication skills is preferred. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate stock inventories and coordinating with suppliers and the inventory team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Manufacturing industry experience beneficial.
• Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
• Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed.
• Track shipments, receive orders and address any delays.
• Oversee storage of products.
• Evaluate suppliers’ offers and negotiate profitable deals.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of both stock items and transactions.
• Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
• Generate Purchase orders.
