Job description
Overview

A company specializing in delivering complete and comprehensive certification-ready Automation, Simulation, Communication, and Ground Control Solutions seeks a Procurement Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Requesting quotations and ordering materials from approved suppliers to meet the companys demand;
  • Maintaining acceptable levels of materials and accurate documentation on the ERP;
  • Timely creation and submission of Purchase Orders for approval via the ERP;
  • Completing external provider evaluations to ensure compliance with AS9100;
  • Conducting incoming inspections once material has arrived;
  • Capturing purchased stock and materials on the ERP;
  • Addressing supplier queries promptly and efficiently;
  • Communicating progress from vendors and suppliers to team members and managers;
  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times product ranges, etc;
  • Complying with current company procurement procedures and policies; and
  • Performing minor support roles within the company as required.
Requirements
  1. 2.1. Minimum Qualifications: a.Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Purchasing; or equivalent; or suitable experience in excess of 10 years.
  2. 2.2. Required Skills and Experience: a.2-5 years of relevant industry experience; b.Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written); c.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel etc); d.Excellent administrative & organisational skills; e.Excellent planning & coordinating skills; f.Strong communication and negotiation skills; g.Good analytical and strategic thinking skills; h.A good understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and potential issues; i.Pro-active approach to own and manage technical query processes between suppliers and engineers.
  3. 2.3. Recommended Skills and Experience: a.Experience in procurement of Electronic components; b.Experience in coordinating international shipping from suppliers;
