A leading procurement organization in Gauteng is seeking a Procurement Manager to create strategies that drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The role requires expertise in supply chain management, negotiations, and compliance. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Supply Chain Management and experience in a decentralized structure. The position involves managing procurement processes, leading a team, and ensuring legal compliance in procurement practices.
Procurement Manager Department : Accounting Services Location : PPECB Head Office Reporting to : Chief Financial Officer Direct reports : 5 Main purpose of the job The job purpose is to create leading procurement strategies, identify ways to meet procurement targets and to develop processes and procedures to make the organisation more efficient, considerably more cost effective and more valuable in the eyes of stakeholders and customers.
Essential A degree in Supply Chain Management or a related qualification
Desirable A post graduate qualification in Business studies / Business Management Membership to CIPS or equivalent would be desirable
Experience Time Span Essential Supply chain management and / or procurement experience in a decentralized, multi-structured organisation
