Job summary

A leading engineering firm based in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Process Safety Engineer. The successful candidate will develop and maintain process safety management systems, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Applicants should have over 5 years of experience in process safety engineering, particularly in the oil & gas or manufacturing sectors. This role requires strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a deep understanding of process safety engineering concepts.

Qualifications

• 5+ to 7+ years of experience in process safety engineering within relevant environments.
• Strong understanding of HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience working with international safety standards (API, OSHA, IEC, NFPA, ISO).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the facility’s PSM systems.
• Lead or participate in HAZOP, HAZID, and risk assessment studies.
• Conduct process safety audits and compliance reviews.
