About the job Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

Purpose:

Responsible for own hand sales in order to meet monthly targets.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Selling scheduled products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
  • Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
  • Engaging with customers on a commercial level on product support
  • Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid commercial arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to high potential unallocated customers
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyse the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

Qualifications and experience:

  • Matric
  • Diploma/Certification in Sales
  • 1-2 years experience in the sales environment
  • Previous experience with PDA Repwise system or similar
  • Experience in sales or working in the pharmaceutical environment is highly advantageous
