Overview

Our client in the security field, is seeking a Payroll Administrator with proven experience in managing large-scale payrolls to join their finance team. This role requires hands-on expertise with VIP Payroll and the ability to handle wages for up to 1,200 employees efficiently and accurately.

Requirements
  • Matric plus a Financial degree or Diploma
  • Proven experience as an Payroll Administrator with some Accounts responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Sage VIP Payroll (Premier / People).
  • Ability to manage high-volume payrolls with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • A finance / accounting qualification a bonus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Full payroll processing for up to 1,200 staff members.
  • Accurate calculation of wages, deductions, overtime, and statutory contributions.
  • Preparation and submission of SARS, PAYE, UIF, and other statutory returns.
  • Month-end reconciliations and payroll reporting to management.
  • Resolving payroll queries and ensuring compliance with legislation.
  • Supporting financial reporting and audits related to payroll.
