Purpose Of The Job
Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Marketing/Digital Manager to lead their marketing function across various dealerships and several automotive brands. This role focuses on digital performance, retail lead generation, creative oversight, analytics and dealer-level execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive a performance-led digital-first marketing strategy for the Group
- Lead, mentor and grow the internal marketing team (performance data/CRM creative content and dealer activation)
- Oversee digital advertising across Google, Meta, TikTok, programmatic and other digital platforms
- Ensure OEM CI compliance and alignment with national marketing campaigns
- Manage and optimise marketing budgets, forecasting and ROI reporting
- Oversee content production, creative asset development and brand storytelling
- Ensure consistent execution of campaigns across several dealerships
- Maintain dashboards, analytics and CRM accuracy in collaboration with the Data & CRM Specialist
- Present monthly and quarterly marketing performance results to EXCO
- Build strong collaborative relationships with OEM partners and Dealer Principals
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in marketing, digital media, business or related field
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA or Digital Strategy) advantageous
- 10+ years experience in senior marketing/digital leadership roles in the automotive industry
- Hands‑on experience in Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads and performance media
- Proven ability to manage multi‑million-rand marketing budgets
- Automotive retail or multi‑brand environment experience beneficial
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, data analytics, attribution modelling and dashboards
- Comfortable with travel (required to visit other dealerships)
- Motor Industry experience Essential!!
