Introduction

A well-known tyre retailer is looking to employ a Sales Person with retail sales experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services. They will also be expected to personally contact and secure new business accounts/customers.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Sell products, services, and sales opportunities
• Build customer relations
• Administer reports and documents
• Plan and schedule work
• Inspect/test products and test drive vehicles

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / BEHAVIOUR REQUIRED:

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Grade 12
• Valid driver’s license
• Understanding how to operate balancing machines
• Knowledge of alignment (interpretation of vehicle behavior)
• Balancing knowledge
• Fitting and stripping tyres
• Identifying tyre/rim defects
• Product knowledge of various suppliers' tyres and rims
• Understanding tyre performance and specifications
• Knowledge of wheel and tyre accessories (e.g., lock nut systems, nitrogen, rim accessories)
• Proficiency in computer programs and software (e.g., 4GL)
• Admin functions such as cash handling, invoicing, and receiving cash
