The IIE Varsity College, Online Centre has a Part Time Supervisor for Early Childhood Experience

Job Purpose

The supervisor will observe student teachers studying for the Higher Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education. The supervisor will visit each student at a specific ECD centre to observe one lesson in the age group 2-4 years. They will provide developmental feedback and support the student during a 3-week ECD-based work-integrated learning period.

Minimum Education Requirements

• A Bachelor of Education specializing in Early Childhood Development (ECD)/Foundation Phase OR Postgraduate Certificate in ECD/Foundation Phase. The qualification must include a focus on Early Childhood or Foundation Phase Teaching.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements

• At least 5 years of teaching experience in the Foundation Phase or Early Childhood Experience, including supervision of students.

Working Conditions

• This is a part-time role.
