Role Overview

Smart Educators is seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to serve as a SIAS and Curriculum Differentiation Training Consultant. This is a part-time, independent contractor role, delivering scheduled, on-site training sessions at schools in Mpumalanga.

The successful consultant will be responsible for developing and delivering impactful SIAS and curriculum differentiation training, supporting educators to improve inclusive education practices and differentiated teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver SIAS and curriculum differentiation training aligned with DBE requirements
  • Facilitate engaging, practical, and outcomes-based training sessions for educators
  • Consult with schools to assess training needs and tailor training content accordingly
  • Develop customised training materials and learning modules
  • Provide post-training support and guidance where required
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with client schools
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and service delivery
Minimum Requirements
  • Qualified Educator with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education
  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in training and development, particularly teacher training
  • Sound knowledge of SIAS processes and curriculum differentiation strategies
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to consult, identify school needs, and propose effective training solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills
