Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Kirklees Place System Workforce Team, Kirklees Health and Care Partnership.

Start Date: As soon as possible, to be agreed with the successful candidate

Are you highly organised, proactive and looking for an opportunity to support meaningful system-wide work across health and care? We are looking for a motivated Administration Assistant to join our Kirklees Place Workforce Team for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting role supporting a range of programmes that strengthen, develop and connect the health and care workforce across Kirklees and Calderdale. Working closely with the Kirklees Place Project Coordinator and Workforce Lead, you will provide vital administrative, project and event support to help deliver our Integrated Workforce Strategy.

No two days will be the same. You will be involved in organising meetings and workshops, supporting events, preparing communications, collecting data for reporting, liaising with partners, and helping to coordinate a variety of activities linked to workforce development, wellbeing and leadership.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks
  • A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital systems
  • Able to work proactively and build positive working relationships
  • Interested in supporting collaborative work across organisations

This role would suit someone with experience in administration, coordination or project support who enjoys working with a wide range of people and contributing to programmes that make a real difference to staff experience and workforce development.
