Job description

Responsibilities

To operate equipment in accordance with company standards and procedures

• Efficiently and accurately operate equipment according to operating procedures instructions and schedules
• Ensure prime quality production in accordance with quality plan
• Adhere to operating requirements were assigned to.
• Continuously reporting to Production Technician on any observed defects

/ Deviation unsafe conditions from the operating parameters or production requirements.

• Ensure compliance with the requirements of Safety Health and Environmental Standards and Procedures.
• Adhere to safe work practice and good housekeeping (6S)
• Accurate calibration of gauges during start of shift
• Applying appropriate roll bending pressures to avoid pinching as per SO

Qualifications

Grade 12 with Maths & Science

Production / Operations Certificate will add advantage

Minimum of five (5) years manufacturing experience as an operator
