What will you do? This role will report to the Regional Support Manager.

This is a management position overseeing a team of Support Staff including the HighPerformance Centre to provide administrative support, controls and processes that will enable the effective/compliant and speedy issuing of new business; and undertake initiatives that will assist in driving sales for both the Choice and Tied businesses.

What will make you successful in this role?

Qualification and Experience:

  • Grade 12
  • Diploma/Degree in Management will be a strong recommendation
  • 2 years managerial experience
  • 2-4 years proven experience in office administration/processing environment. Preference of having worked within a sales distribution environment

Knowledge and Skills:

  • To be successful you will need to demonstrate good experience in:
  • Distribution and sales business (preferably within Sanlam)
  • Basic Sanlam product knowledge
  • Budgeting, expense management
  • Knowledge of management practises and processes, knowledge of HR practices and performance management principles
  • Legislative compliance and risk management of a financial services/sales environment
  • Knowledge of Sanlam’s support services and administration processes (i.e.: New Business)
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence and reliable motor vehicle
