An exciting opportunity exists for a Municipal Administrator within a leading property management and development environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective municipal account administration, risk management, and optimization of utility services across a diverse property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage landlord, service provider, and tenant relationships to optimize utility management.

  • Source and verify municipal accounts from supply authorities.

  • Handle tenant and council queries, including the opening of new accounts.

  • Conduct regular reporting, tariff verification, and risk management.

  • Support utility accounting functions, ensuring accurate cost and recovery allocations per billing cycle.

  • Assess energy efficiency and recommend optimal utility tariffs.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant Acts, bylaws, and internal processes.

Requirements
  • Experience in the property industry and municipal accounts administration (essential).

  • Strong background in creditors, account reconciliations, and payments.

  • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level).

  • Valid driver’s licence.

  • Knowledge of Pastel/SAGE ERP 300 (advantageous).

  • Experience in dealing with council queries (advantageous).
