Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain machinery within the factory.
  • Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment running reliably.
  • Ensure all machinery operates at optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Trade-Tested Millwright (Red Seal essential).
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior staff.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Safety-conscious and reliable under pressure.
Preferred
  • Experience in footwear, textiles, or similar fast-paced production environments.
  • Welding, fabrication, or light construction skills.
  • Basic knowledge of PLCs or automation systems.
